Our academy has a long and respected history of promoting discipline and concentration while working as an empowering tool for success. YU Taekwondo was founded by renowned Dr. Andreas Held—also known as Dr. YU—and quickly grew from humble beginnings in Vienna, Austria, into an international institution. Dr. Held is a renowned Taekwondo grandmaster and sports scientist. Thousands of students have passed through his hands, and he has 27 branches of the sport here and abroad, leaving no one in doubt about his influence.
For the first time ever, YU Taekwondo brings this spirit to Dubai, opening its doors to martial arts training for individuals and families alike. Teaching relates not only to lifelong skills but also to community through respect, perseverance, and mastery.
