Requirement

You hold a black belt in Taekwondo, Karate, or Kickboxing
Fluent English without heavy accent
You would like to live and to work in Dubai or later in Europe
You like to share your Martial Arts-expertise with many students
You are athletic, energetic, and highly motivated
You enjoy engaging with customers and have a business sense
You’re comfortable working with both children and adults
You have organizational skills and show initiative
You are open to training and taking on new tasks
Customer orientation is second nature to you

If we both continue being interested, we will schedule an appointment (Google meet) in front of a camera to deepen our mutual knowing of each other – also to watch some of your martial arts moves and to claryfy last questions.

If all positive we will meet in Dubai and start our cooperation – your training or in best case even your introduction to conduct trainings in Dubai.

At latest after two month of cooperation in Dubai we will have a review and a final decision about our future cooperation.

FAQ

Essential to have a black belt-degree?

Yes – it could be in Taekwondo (WT, ITF), Karate, Kickboxing

English language required?

Yes – if you want to train people you have to be able to explain things, to understand and anwer their questions

Does this job only exclusively about physical training in Martial Arts?

No – step by step you wll be trained in administration, acquisition, responsibility for leading an own location – mainly on the job

How many days a week is this job?

Normally 5 days, sometimes there are tournaments oder exams for the students – this will require your participation also on weekends

Do I have to participate in fighting, in tournaments?

No, not obligatory – but you can, if you want to – part of the job ist also teaching free fighting – but it does not mean to fight yourself

What specific duties will I have, especially regarding classes for different age groups?

You will start providing training to toddlers, children and beginners. According to your abilities you will more and more be in charge of older and advanced clients

What does the YU-Taekwondo training include?

All kind of fitness-training, stretching, typical taekwondo-techniques, hyong, poomsae, self-defense, Kimoodo, one-step-fight and more, acrobatics.

Are there further training or certifications offered?

Further training – see above – like Kimoodo, self-defense, acrobatics. You can take exams and reach for higher Traditional Taekwondo-graduations

Will this role be based solely in Dubai, or is there potential for relocation to Europe, such as Austria?

Yes – there is – after some time. Today we are located in Austria, Dubai and Kenia – further expansion in Europe, Asia, Africa is planned.

What’s the typical schedule, including weekends or holidays?

Before noon: administrative work – afternoon and evening: giving training for groups, private lessons

What is the pay structure, and are there any additional benefits (e.g., accommodation, visa sponsorship)

We help finding accommodation and we pay your visa.

What ages and skill levels are the students?

Speciality of YU-Taekwondo is providing training to all ages (3 to 90) and to all levels of fitness in full understanding of the mindset of Traditional Taekwondo

What’s the cost for daily Taekwondo training if needed?

If needed – depends on your skills and knowledge – 2 month daily training will be 100 UAE-Dirham
