Belt Examination Day – 9–10 January 2027

Belt Examination Day at YU Taekwondo Dubai takes place on Saturday, 9 January and Sunday, 10 January 2027. Approved students have the opportunity to demonstrate their progress and complete the examination requirements for their next belt level.

Every belt examination represents an important milestone in the Taekwondo journey. Students demonstrate the techniques, Hyongs and other skills they have developed through regular training and dedicated preparation.

The examination evaluates more than technical ability. Concentration, discipline, confidence, perseverance and respectful behaviour are important throughout the grading process. Each examination provides an opportunity to recognise personal progress and prepare for new challenges.

Participation in Belt Examination Day is reserved for students who have received approval from the head instructor at their YU Taekwondo location. Only students whose names appear on the official examination list are eligible to participate.

The examinations on 9–10 January 2027 are intended for beginners from 10th to 8th Kup and advanced students from 7th to 4th Kup. The instructor team determines when a student is ready to demonstrate the requirements for the next belt level.

Students should confirm their assigned examination day and time with their instructor. Please also follow the instructions provided by YU Taekwondo Dubai regarding registration, required forms, equipment and any applicable examination fees.

Consistent training is the foundation of successful examination preparation. Students should review the techniques, Hyongs and other requirements relevant to their current belt level.

Regular practice helps improve accuracy, coordination, control and confidence. Students are encouraged to listen carefully to their instructors and use their remaining training sessions to strengthen the skills they will demonstrate.

Adequate rest, good hydration and a positive mindset can support concentration on examination day. Remember that a belt examination is an opportunity to demonstrate learning and progress, not simply to achieve a particular result.

Each belt level represents a stage of development within traditional Taekwondo. Moving towards the next belt requires consistent effort, dedication and the willingness to learn.

During Belt Examination Day, students have the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and practical abilities they have acquired. Instructors guide the examination in a structured and encouraging environment.
